The TriUniversity Group of Libraries
(TUG) is a unique example of administrative co-operation among the Libraries
of three Ontario universities; the Universities of Guelph and Waterloo,
and Wilfrid Laurier University. Informal co-operation among these three
has been in place for nearly thirty years; however in the past decade,
rapidly advancing technology has enabled co-operation at a completely
different level, and the result has been a slightly more formalised agreement
to work together for mutual benefit.
